Custom Timber Driveway Gates, Handmade in Sydney

Mortice and Tenon builds timber driveway gates as matched pairs in our Hornsby workshop, using genuine mortice and tenon joinery for strength that lasts. Choose from five classic styles — open picket-window, solid privacy, full picket and balustrade — to suit traditional, Federation and heritage-style homes across Sydney’s North Shore, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and Hills District.

Every gate is crafted from sustainably sourced plantation pine and supplied primed, ready for two coats of exterior topcoat. A standard 3000mm pair of gates is offered at fixed pricing, and other sizes made to measure — request a custom size and we’ll confirm the gate size, price and lead time before production begins. Most orders are completed within about four weeks.

Pickup is free from our Hornsby workshop, and delivery is quoted to your address Australia-wide. Hinges, locks, posts and automation are not supplied, but we’re happy to quote hinges on request.
