How many timber pickets do I need?

Plan your DIY fence panels and price the pickets to suit. Primed timber pickets, custom made in our Sydney workshop.

1. Choose your pickets
66mm bevel top timber picket, primed timber, single angled top cut

2. Panel measurements

Clear opening between the inside faces of the posts. Exclude the posts and any gate openings.

3. Spacing and spares

Even gaps between all pickets and at both posts. Diagram is illustrative, not a construction drawing.

Before you order

Measure each clear panel opening separately. Choose a picket length for your intended fence height and allow for your planned ground clearance and finishing. This estimate assumes straight, rectangular panels with equal-width pickets.

Check actual timber dimensions and your final set-out before fixing. This quantity estimate does not confirm structural suitability, pool-fence compliance or local approval requirements.
